Dalin “Cittaslow” City Logo Design and Photo Contest
Nanhua University is committed to promoting the implementation of Three Good Deeds and long-term, in-depth community service. Dalin Township in Chiayi County was accredited by the International Slow City Association in 2017 and became the first city in western Taiwan to be recognized as a “Slow City”. Nanhua University, Dalin Township Hall, and Representative Committee jointly held a “Dalin Slow City Logo Design and Photo Contest”. The award ceremony was held at Dalin Railway Station on October 14, 2017, with Yeh Ho-ping, mayor of Dalin Township government, Chen Zheng-yi, chairman of the Dalin Township Council, Huang Guo-fang, vice chairman of the National Youth Entrepreneur General of the Republic of China, and Xu Kai-xing, chairman of the Chiayi County's Dalin Slow City Association, in attendance. Nanhua University vice president Lin Chen-zhang led the delegation.
